Two Words: Batch It Up!

Two Words: Batch It Up!
I can’t believe we’re already a month into the new year! If you’re like me, you’re probably knees deep into working towards some exciting goals, but we need to be careful. While I always want to shoot for the stars, I’m also learning the importance of balancing big goals with realistic timeframes.

How do we do this? One way is by breaking down goals into smaller, more manageable tasks. This not only helps you stay focused and motivated, but it also helps you track your progress and feel a sense of accomplishment as you check things off your to-do list. Staying motivated not only helps with productivity but also helps you stay on track with the tasks at hand.

This concept is crucial when it comes to creating your content.

What do I mean? Two words: Batch it up! Whoops, I guess that’s three words. Anyway, this is what I do with my Instagram Reels and TikTok videos. Instead of writing and filming one video at a time, I film several videos in one sitting and then schedule them to be released over the following weeks. By batching my videos, I’m saving time by being more efficient and staying focused on the task at hand, which I find really helps my ADHD tendencies as I’m not constantly switching gears getting “in the zone” to make a single video.

What’s holding you back from creating more content? Are you worried about how you’ll look or sound? Don’t be. I know this might sound strange coming from someone who helps people level up the professionalism of their video studios, but hear me out. You have to start SOMEWHERE. The best equipment in the world will not make you an incredible presenter. It’s important to get your reps in.

Now, there is SO MUCH content bombarding us all from every angle, so it’s important we continue to find ways to stand out. One great way to do this is by using professional equipment to capture your content, which is exactly what I can help you with, whenever you’re ready.

But if you remember just one thing from this message, remember this: KISS - Keep it simple, stupid. Sometime’s it’s important to face the cold hard truth, in this case: Don’t be stupid, and SIMPLIFY your content. What do I mean? Click here.

tl;dr
  • Break down your goals into smaller, more manageable tasks.
  • Consider batching your content to save time and stay focused.
  • Level up your video equipment whenever you’re ready.
  • Remember KISS - Keep it simple, stupid.
To dominate the content creation game, take these tips and put them into practice. Unless you’re into the whole “making things harder than they need to be” thing.
